Mere chacha ki shaadi...

Hello everybody... After a good 10 days vacation, I am back to work. I had been to Balasore(a coastal district in Orissa), my village to attend my uncle's wedding. Well, he was my dad's youngest brother.
I was visiting my village after two years. When I was a kid I used to go there twice a year, but after I joined college I could hardly find time to go there. Actually, I could have found time, but I just didn't feel like goin there. I don't know why... My uncle and aunty who stay there, love me a lot and everytime they call me, the first thing that they ask is "When r u coming?".
But this time with all my relatives and cousins, I had a fantastic time. No hurries, no hassles, I felt like a kid after a long long time. I caught up with some of my cousins and relatives whom I hadn't seen for years. Although I am a 22 yr old guy now, but in their eyes I was still a kid and their affection compelled me to think certain things which I had never thought before.
Lately, I have been thinking a lot about my career, my job, my salary..but an interesting thing that I discovered was that, for those who matter the most to me, these things don't matter. People of our generation(like me), keep on hankering for money, fame and in the process forget the actual meaning of relationships. I am not saying that one should not go for these things, but that balance is very necessary. Mine is a joint family and I am happy to be a part of it. My dad has five brothers and the kind of bonding they share is something u hardly find in this age. The only reason why this joint family has existed is- mutual respect amongst the brothers. Ok, I am going too much into relationships. Coming back to chacha ki shaadi, the good news is that, the next man in line is me....

First post

Hi, everybody. I don't know how many people will ever visit this, but for those who have already come here, let me tell you this spot is going to be the next big thing on the web. It is going to be a cornucopia, a storehouse of all knowledge, information, fundas and gyan.
Okay... lets get serious, it took me 4 months, from january to may..to decide on the name of my blogspot, becoz after all its the name that matters( actually, I was in a deep slumber from january till yesterday). After joining Tata Steel in july, last year I had thought of doing something constructive, because here you get a lot of spare time and probably that is the reason why all the UPSC aspirants prefer this company to the high paying MNCs. But old habbits are hard to be parted with and laziness is like the one word that describes me the best or to put it otherwise I think I am the pictorial reference to the word "lazy". And sleeping comes naturally to me, so from july till jan the only thing that I did other than sleeping in the training classes and in my room was playing. I had stopped playing during my XI standard, because I had to study for the engg entrances and all, but instead of studying I ended up watching all the hindi movies that were released that year and the next year. I think I was lucky enough to get into BIT Mesra, which was anyday more than wat I deserved. I think I am deviating frm wat I intended to say. Lets be back in Tata Steel. Now, after joining my dept. in january, the playing thing stopped and in the office I had no work other than refreshing my orkut homepage after every 60 secs. Then, I had thought of starting a blog, and look its 10th may today.
By now, you must have realized wat kind of a blog its going to be and wat crap is going to be posted here. But, I promise I will try writing something more meaningful next time. And yes, I would like to thank Smarak ( the UPSC aspirant), who taught me how to edit the layout and other stuff in a blog.
