Life In a Metro

Well, a lot of my friends had been suggesting me to watch "Life In a Metro", but it was only last week that I somehow borrowed the DVD and watched it. Excellent movie!!!After a long time, a Hindi movie has pleased me so much that I have watched it twice, after the first time.

The best thing about the movie is that, it showcases the various kinds of relationships that have now become a common phenomenon in the big cities, in a way that suggests the basis of the relationships. And its true.

Nobody intentionally wants to hurt someone. People enter into the so-called unapproved relationships only in the search of happiness and some kind of an emotional support. In the pursuit of earning more, they forget their families and when their emotional needs and the family's don't match, they try to find this somewhere else. Moreover, in this rat race people forget to make and maintain friends, and at the end of the day curse their loneliness.
At one place in the movie, Irfan Khan says, " Yeh sahar humein jitna deta hai, usse kahin zyada humse chhin leta hai". This is what people have to understand and make a call. It's not wrong to aspire for money or a better life style, but if u r doing it at the expense of ur social relations, then its ur decision and better stand by it.

Talking about the movie, the music by Pritam is rocking. So, those who haven't watched it yet, go watch it.
